Sustained Resistance is the debut album of stalwart techno-punks Maelstrom and Louisahhh. After a decade of collaboration, including co-founding their label RAAR (dedicated to unique, challenging and beautiful cross-disciplinary creative adventures), the duo embarks on their first live-hybrid tour.

While both Maelstrom and Louisahhh are renowned performers in their own right, this new endeavor is a celebration of connection: the connection between the artists, between the crowd and the music, between the music and the moment.

With an energy that could be described as ‘Doof warrior in the Black Lodge’, the show treads a fine line through the tense, uncanny darkness of the songs lyrical content, and feral, ferocious energy fueled by loving truth, all towards a goal of ‘collective effervescence’.

Drawing from a body of work spanning from Maelstrom and Louisahhh’s early days of ‘Bromance bangers’ reinterpreted, through to brand new material, the Sustained Resistance Tour demonstrates exactly that: finding joy in the tension, connection and delight in defiant noise.
